Privacy Notice

What we collect

• Roadmap progress (only if you sign in):an anonymous account identifier from your sign-in provider (Microsoft or GitHub), your move date, visa type, destination city, and which tasks you've checked off. We do not store your name or email for this — only the opaque identifier. If you don't sign in, progress stays in your own browser and never reaches our servers.
• Gotcha reports: the text you submit, and — only if you choose to provide them — your city, visa type, and email address.

What we use it for

• Progress data exists solely so your roadmap remembers where you left off.
• Reports are reviewed by hand to improve the roadmap. If we publish a lesson learned from your report, it is anonymized — your identity is never part of it. Your email, if provided, is used only to follow up on your report.
• We do not sell your data. Ever. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. No AI models are trained on it.

Where it lives and how long

• Data is stored in Microsoft Azure (Cosmos DB, United States region), encrypted in transit and at rest.
• Progress data is kept while you keep using the app. Reports are kept until reviewed, then either folded into the roadmap (anonymized) or deleted.

Your rights (access, correction, deletion)

You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or have it deleted at any time — including rights of access, rectification, cancellation, and opposition (ARCO) under Mexican law. Write to luis.guzman1996@outlook.com from the account you want us to act on, and we'll respond within 20 business days.

• Datos que recabamos: si inicias sesión, un identificador anónimo de tu proveedor (Microsoft o GitHub), tu fecha de mudanza, tipo de visa, ciudad de destino y las tareas completadas — no almacenamos tu nombre ni tu correo para esto. Si envías un reporte, el texto que escribas y, solo si decides proporcionarlos, tu ciudad, tipo de visa y correo electrónico.
• Finalidades: guardar tu avance en la guía de mudanza y revisar reportes para mejorarla. Si publicamos algo a partir de tu reporte, se hace de forma anónima.
• No vendemos ni compartimos tus datos con anunciantes ni con terceros para fines comerciales.
• Conservación: el avance se conserva mientras uses la aplicación; los reportes, hasta su revisión.
• Derechos ARCO: puedes ejercer tus derechos de acceso, rectificación, cancelación y oposición escribiendo a luis.guzman1996@outlook.com. Responderemos en un máximo de 20 días hábiles.
